Design and Illustration for the book "Wheels and Rhymes"
I created all of the design and artwork for my first self-published poetry collection book, published on Amazon Books in September of 2022. Typography of the cover elements done in Photoshop, along with all image editing. Cover photo was taken with just a Samsung smart phone and color adjusted in Photoshop. The illustrations within the book were done in pen and ink and then edited in Photoshop to better resemble engravings.

Design and Illustration for the book "Star Lines"
I designed all content for my second poetry collection book, published on Amazon Books in February of 2023. Created in Photoshop with source photos from NASA archives and some stock photography (mostly the starfield backgrounds). This is the first draft of the cover and some of the illustrations. The elements within these include: historical document scans via Wikimedia Commons, mission photography and documentation from NASA's public database, new drawings by me (The Bayeux Tapestry styled image), and digital illustrations created wholely within Photoshop. Images shown are from both the black & white paperback version and the full color Kindle e-book version.

Cover and illustrations for "The Gray Office" book
This was a book I released as an eBook only and with each page being a constructed image utilizing the text, instead of a traditional page of text with supplemental illustrations. The overall design concept was to appear as bad photocopies and the doodles of a bored office worker, for an intentionally distressed and worn out look.
Other work for book publishing
Here are a few examples of older projects I did earlier in my career. The left was a book cover done for a client's book project "Good Ole Boys." The middle was an illustration done for the opening pages of the horror anthology "Dark Tales of Lost Civilizations." The third image, on the right, was a concept image for the author portrait in my steampunk poetry book. It was a smart phone "selfie" that I turned into an engraving style image in Photoshop.
