Glove City Pizza is a new fast casual pizzeria opening soon in Gloversville, NY.  The goal in creating this logo was to combine imagery of historic Gloversville with pizza, which I did by illustrating a skyline using multiple well-known buildings in the downtown area and a pizza-sunrise. I initially made a few different designs to figure out the best way to position the skyline, using a single slice of pizza and the buildings as the crust for example, but they were not as balanced as the final design, and the buildings would have been unrecognizable at smaller sizes. In this final design color and black logo options can be used interchangeably, and I've also included a mockup of what the logo could look like on a pizza box.
