Buccaneer - Logo and Branding
Personal work for a fictional company. The prompt was to create a logo for a company called Buccaneer. This company specialized in Italian drinks, with their business centering around being able to ship these drinks directly to your home. The client's needs were that the logo needed to have red as its primary color, that it should be abstract, and that it should feel innocent and gentle. An extra accommodation that the client needed met was to create a mock-up for how this design would look like on a company vehicle.
The inspiration for this logo comes from the Italian drink aperitivo. This drink is light, playful, and sweet, and often features an orange twist. This drink is also a deep red/blood orange. With all this together, I thought the aperitivo was the perfect "poster drink" for Buccaneer since the drink's description matches the client's needs. The twist and the drink color were the basis of the "B" in Buccaneer.
