Igbo, the name belongs to the tribal people of Nigeria and this collection as it is inspired by their craft style, which includes fine perspective line, symmetric as well as asymmetrical shapes, in varied wood finishes
Other valuable craft which they produce are doors and panels for houses, as well as stools, dancing masks, and boxes.
Igbo doors are delicately carved with deeply cut abstract designs in striated and hatched patterns that catch the sunlight to produce high contrasts of light and shadow, which they also done in this sculpture.
