This project was to create a Christmas card that could have international appeal with no religious connotations.

I chose to focus on two things we associate with Christmas, the reindeer and dove. I had the idea of using shadow puppets because i came across old 50's hand illustrations and wanted to experiment. I drew out the shadow puppets and then scanned them into Photoshop where i turned them into cards and envelope paper. I also handmade enveloped to accompany the cards. I decided to use die cutting for the shadow to add a 3D element to the card and also if you hold them in front of light it will create a shadow image, just to add fun and an interactive element to the card.
