IOW 300.2 Packaging design (REDO)
Brief
You are required to conceptualise and create an engaging, visually appropriate packaging design solution for your existing brand. Although the essence of your brand needs to be captured in the packaging design, you may expand, extend or tweak the brand as appropriate to your design solution. You may especially want to expand the visual language of the brand with particular focus on its application to packaging design. The final packaging solution needs to be extendable. In other words, you need to show a range of flavours/ variants in your brand family. This range needs to include at least three polished elements. For instance, a perfume range could include three scents, with the extended visual language applied sensitively to indicate the difference in the range. Consider the format of your packaging carefully. Think of the usability of the package, as well as its appropriateness to your brand and selected target audience. Will your brand be packaged in a custom-designed glass container, tin, plastic, die-cut box, paper bag? Your completed packaging solution needs to be translated into a three-dimensional render, using your knowledge of Cinema 4D. All elements of your packaging brand will then be presented on three A3 boards in a visually appealing, structured and communicative manner.

Design Strategy
My mission for this Redo was to improve the design of the IOW 300.3 packaging project, based on the feedback I received. In the feedback, it was said that the bottles's textures resembled plastic more than it resembled glass, so I tried to remedy that. The feedback also said that the background made the composition too busy and that I should look at my moodboards again for inspiration on how to get the luxurious feel that I wanted to get, so I decided to change the background into a plain dark brown, matte background, so that the packaging can keep the attention on them.
