Branding for the Public: Phase 1 Graphic Translation
The purpose of this project is to create a series of sequences that mirror the key components of the Emirates Post Office. Each series focuses on a distinct component of the post office. Postal workers, shipments, and routes are all taken into consideration. This project demonstrates how concepts and keywords may be transformed into patterns, designs, and illustrations, which ultimately result in brand identity.
The illustrations represent the routes or ways of a bicycle messenger, mail truck, or cargo plane when ready to deliver mails. Having lines coming out from the corners of the art board and filling up the page was my main focus because postmen have one purpose which is to deliver the package no matter the route.
This sequence conveys the idea of how post offices are filled with packages. My illustrations focus on how packages come in different shapes and sizes. Also, the illustrations try to reveal the idea that a package always contains something inside of it.
This sequence delivers an important yet complicated idea. The role of postmen is very crucial as they meet hundreds of people per day. They connect with people from all over the world. These illustrations convey the idea of a sender and receiver starting from one main point (the post office) and then moving forward.
