Cathay Dragon Aircraft Livery
A Hong Kong-based international regional airline (Ceased operation in Oct 2020) under the Cathay Pacific Group. They were also an afflicted member of the Oneworld airline alliance.
A complete aircraft livery redesign to rejuvenate the brand as well as giving synergy with its sister brand, Cathay Pacific. Both Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon liveries donned the same brushwing tails and similar logotype but in different colour way. Cathay Dragon included a new dragon illustration near the nose of the aircraft, which paid homage to previous airline Dragonair. A lot of thought and process was given to the dragon redesign with contemporary look while maintaining the Chinese aesthetics.
