Kansas City Renaissance Festival 2016 Mural Contest
The mural was painted on an 8ftx4ft piece of plywood. It won first Place that year. It took 3 weekends and a week vacation to finish. I had no plan and just started painting the background to get started. the creativity flowed naturally from that point.

There was one fly and one frog in the entire mural.
Only one snail,
and one grasshopper too.
There are eleven butterflies. Many people thought the yellow and blue one were sticking off the board by an inch. They were painted on the board like everything else.
There are also two dragon flies, one owl and one lady bug.
