Patchwork quilt for a double bed, using vintage fabrics, piped, buttoned, quilted and batting interlined.
To compliment a client's bedroom, that I had previously soft furnished, I was commissioned to make a quilt. This is for a king-sized bed using fabrics to enhance and enrich the colours in the bedroom. The fabrics are cotton and silk, appliqued and buttoned. The quilt is batting interlined, with a contrasting backing.
A double bed sized quilt using some fabric from the client's curtains, and other cotton and silk fabrics. The bird motif was an enlarged version of those in the curtain fabric. The quilt is buttoned and quilted, and batting interlined and contrasting fabric backed.
