In a few months before I started university I began trying to develop my fantasy concept artwork. The following project shows the progression of my self taught and self motivated work during this time. Some have been produced from scratch using Gimp (Photoshop-style software) and others are a composite of photos and additional Gimp work. I will continue to add to this project as I do more work.
The piece above is one that I produced for a private facebook page in which we were given a theme of 'Old and New' for which we could produce anything creative that followed the theme. This piece was designed to show the simplistic beauty of nature on the left and the results of our destuctive use of our planets resources on the right.
The piece above was a design for an album cover for a friend of mine who is releasing an album. The artists band name is animula which is Latin for animal which is why I chose the image of the lion.
