Japanese Notan
A notan means, "light and dark", in Japanese, and it's a artistic way of thinking about balance and composition. In this project, I needed to create designs following the Japanese Notan style through composition, symmetry, and using unique shape. Making at least 8 sketches and finalizing one of the sketches using construction paper and an X-Acto knife.
