I started with the layout design and background design sketch on the left and I then explore for more examples and make a second sketch that I think is better.
Animation Path & Keyposes
I plans the ball to appear to have been dropped into the forest and fall from above onto the leaves before sliding slowly onto the mushrooms and landing in the rafflesia flower behind.

Elaina
An Elf from the west, she likes Chinese culture and wants to learn Chinese.
She is an extrovert and she likes to travel around China and experiences the local culture.
Although she encountered some dangers during the exploration, she solved it through magic.
In her free time, Elaina also reads some books about Chinese culture.
Sketches of Character Design - Elaina
I originally intended to dress Elaina in a cheongsam to represent China,
but after deciding that the regular cheongsam wouldn't be appropriate for her adventure,
I switched to cheongsam skirt pants with inner pant.
These are some cheongsam skirt pant of different colors worn on Elaina
