A tableware collection designed in college for a Mediterranean restaurant - Milos. 

 

Designed as a collection of appetizer plates, the patterns are inspired by traditional Greek mosaics and textiles. To create new surfaces, the base of each bowl is carefully carved and the reverse is created on the edge of the large dish. 

These plates and bowls were created via slipcasting of porcelain and fired to a Cone 6
