This was a prototype model that I built with Rhino, and then was exported as and STP file, it was modified and entered production. A white plastic dental root canal device on a white product on a white background is a challenge, but in this case it worked out well. I used a cream colored plastic material and twelve lighting passes, and did post production in After Effects.

This is the wireframe view of the model, and was intended to be a fully functional prototype model, thus the tolerances were 1/2000th of an inch. The only thing I didnt intend to be part of the prototype was the spring on the driver piston seen at the center of the gun.
