Para a criação deste alfabeto, decidi fazer um jogo; tal como nos livro de “Where’s Wally/Waldo?”, cada uma das 26 letras estão escondidas nos recantos desta grande detalhada ilustração.
Inicialmente, para me escapar da síndrome da página em branco, comecei por fazer um brain storm de diferentes palavras onde pudesse “esconder” as letras e referencias como o livro “A Personalised Search-and-find Multiverse Book” da Marija Tiurina ajudou-me a montar a composição e também a improvisar personagens ou situações que me viessem à cabeça.
Depois de pintado digitalmente, o resultado foi o de um jogo que pessoas de todas as idades pudessem disfrutar num poster, num moral ou num puzzle.

Find the Letters!

For the creation of this alphabet I decided to make a game; just like in the “Where’s Wally/Waldo?” books, each of the 26 letters are hidden in the nooks and crannies of this large detailed illustration.

Initially, to escape the blank page syndrome, I started by making a brain storm of different words where I could “hide” the letters and references as the book “A Personalized Search-and-find Multiverse Book” by Marija Tiurina helped me putting together the composition and also improvising characters or situations that came to mind.

After being digitally painted, the result was a game that people of all ages could enjoy in a poster, a moral or a puzzle.
