Topic: "Composing a poster or book cover"
Description:
We had to design a composing based on the acquired knowledge in the programmes Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. The composing should serve as a teaser e.g. a poster for an author's reading, or as a book cover in DIN-A3 (portrait or landscape format) for a short story from the areas of fantasy or fairytales that we have developed.
I chose to create a book cover and the first idea that came up in my mind was a story with a fox, but with a combination of a deer. So, actually my first step was to write the story and then to sketch the fox. In the end I found several images and vectors on Pixabay and created in Photoshop the final book cover.
