During my Masters Degree at BCU, in Visual Communication, I worked closely with dancers from Birmingham Royal Ballet and photographed behind the scenes of one of their workshops.

The workshop being completed was aimed towards photographers, to learn more about dance photography, but also to understand and gain more awareness of how to work with a dancer more effectively to achieve the best from them as well as the best images as a result. 

I experimented with both coloured and black and white formats and was really proud of the outcomes achieved. It has been a dream to work with Birmingham Royal Ballet and these dancers were a pleasure to photograph. The photographers who attended the event found it truly valuable and were able to supply great advice to myself also.
