Create an illustration that contains:
1)A harmonious composition;
2)A main character/protagonist (stylized or simplified anatomy is possible);
3)A simple but interesting pose for the character;
4)An understandable lighting setup (e.g. one light source);
5)Shadows of objects and the shadow relationships between them (if they are 3D, it should be clear what their volume is);
6)A harmonious color palette and its refinement.

I decided that I wanted to draw a meditation of the meduse Gorgona. And the first thing I started thinking about was how to best draw her beautiful hair.

 I couldn't figure out what was wrong for a while, so I removed the jugs and made the sea more saturated.
