Project brief:
prototype using blue foam /any material of Sony PlayStation 5 controller in the gray retro color inspired by PlayStation 1 controller.

-Gluing two pieces together of XPS foam
-add template (make sure its close to the real size we can adjust it while shaping and forming)

-Using cutter to make the divot in the back

-make a circle with charcoal pencil cut with a blade

-measure and sketch back details

Putty application
first coat
-thin coat to build the button holes and close the cracks
-sand using the sanding sponge medium \ fine
second coat
-Added extra foam then carve it to make it the same shape as the handle
-Add putty
-cut extra length
third and final coat
-apply putty allover the controller
-sand evenly first by scribbling on the putty then sand first 220 -330-500-1000 until smooth
-draw the details

-cut the details
-Make the holes using pen for front and back hole
-add kwik seal to the caved places
-2x coats of mode podge

places that were made into selicon moldes
- mix part A and part B together then put it on the controller bottons

using resin to make these buttons
-weigh the resin according to the directions ratio mine is 1-1
- mix for 3 min carefully since I'm painting them the bubbles will not show but if making the clear mix carefully
-to pop the bubbles use a torch lighter
Back Buttons
using airdry clay
-add air dry clay into the mold
-smooth
-add texture by pressing the buttons into a mug that had the same texture
Left and Right sticks
- cut foam circles
-add airdry clay use circle ruler to make the divet
-to make the stick roll 9mm cylinder
Painting

fleus chalk in the color smoky
marabu do it satin matt in the color 169 stone gray
follk art black acrilick paint
prep
add 2 coats of mod podge( to protect the exposed foam)
sprat 2 coats of primer
painting
- spray 2 coats of stone gray on the controller
-spray 2 coats of smoky on the action and directonal buttons
- spray the smoky spray paint on a pallet then using a brush paint the dark area
-paint the home and back buttons and the sticks with 2 coats of black acrylic paint
assembling
-using por uhu glue the all the buttons
