Namazu, the giant chaotic catfish under Japan’s islands, loves to be in the spotlight. A notorious earthquake-causer and general mischief-maker, Namazu swims at the forefront of the prospective ramen bar in upstate New York. By illustrating each bowl on the menu, we are showcasing each ingredient and assisting customers with visual aid who may not be accustomed to the cuisine. In order to make the restaurant a sensory experience, we infused it with colorful illustrations and patterns.
