Free hug!

'Free hug!' is a project I did a little while ago I forgot to share.
It began as a one-day project and it ended up as an animated shot inspired by The Road runner show.
One day of free time, I wanted to do something to practice textures and shading but I didn't want to lose my time with a complex modeling so a cartoon bomb seemed to be a good choice!
And it was so it would have been too bad not having an environment, right?
Right! It turned pretty well so, of course, it needed sparkles and a little camera movement...
Anyway, this project was as fun to do as to see the result.
Finally, I played with textures, shading, Forest pack to scatter the pebbles and it was one of my first TyFlow to create the sparkles.

Softwares and ressources used: 3DS Max - Redshift - TyFlow - Forest pack - Quixel Megascans - Polyhaven HDRI - Nuke - After Effects - Videocopilot Optical flares - Photoshop - Illustrator
