I have been a Detroit Red Wings fan as long as I can remember. Fun fact for any other hockey fans out there, I was at the Red Wings/Avalanche game in Joe Louis Arena on March 26, 1997 when the two teams let out all their bad blood against each other, including the goalies, Mike Vernon and Patrick Roy.
I had never created anything Red Wings which seemed like a weird decision on my part until I had the idea for this print celebrating the many important figures in Detroit hockey history. I took some creative liberties with some of the letters (hello, AleX Delvechhio), but very happy how this one turned out.
