Markaz means “Centre” in Arabic derived from the game of Ludo, where the movement of the coins is towards the centre - towards home. This project similarly has been inspired by the human emotion of nostalgia and childhood that eventually gravitates towards the concept of HOME and the warmth, love and security that comes with it.
