Illustrations for a children's book (2021) - the story is called ¨ Frijolito the cat¨
The engine of the story is the contrast between the tiny size of Frijolito (it measn little bean) and his drive to show himself as someone big and brave, this is why I decided to exaggerate his tiny size and give him a bell that is too big for him.
Frijolito's design seeks to present him as a character that inspires tenderness but is full of determination. The shape of his head is based on the silhouette of a bean.
This book was published thanks to El Salvador Ministry of Education and it was distributed in schools across the country.
