Spare time project built around a beautiful chandelier by Dimoremilano.
Timelapse
In a time-lapse we decided to experiment with the format of interior animations, recreating a full day from breakfast to evening dinner around the dining area in the kitchen.
Rendering done entirely in Сorona Renderer. We did not use pre-configured animation or scene states, I set each frame as for a stop-motion animation manually, changed the exposure settings a little and rendered right away.
The interior is filled with small details of everyday life replacing each other in every new frame. We wanted the viewer to watch this video again and again, discovering something new each time.
Production took about a week. The render was performed with the R9 5950x CPU. Approximately 10 minutes per frame.

Still Frames
For the still renders, we decided to deviate a little from the commercial lighting scheme and tried to convey a tangible "filmic" atmosphere.
A rather tricky varnished wood shader was used for table and chairs, creating the soft and silky effect of internal glow of the wood fibers.
For two shots, we used volumetric light to make the lighting even softer.
Oriente B Chandelier 3D model
For this project we have created a 3d model of Oriente B chandelier by Dimoremilano. Floral printed silk lampshade and Art Deco hardware immediately make this chandelier the central point of the composition.
The most challenging was the recreation the texture for the lampshade.
Firstly, we used Midjourney AI to create various variations of the flowers pattern. But ended up creating the texture by hand combining AI output and references we found online.
