Repair Retouch and Colorize Artwork
Retouching a charcoal drawing (approx. 12"x18") dated 1906 using photographic and photo editing processes. Drawing was too fragile and damaged to repair using art conservation techniques.
The Process: (Left to Right)
1. Original drawing photographed with high resolution camera.
2. Convert image to black and white.
3. Digital repair of missing areas, tears, and other defects. Colorize image.
4. Professionally printed with matte finish photographic paper.
