For this project I opened a picture in photoshop, which would be the background picture, and on a seperate file I used the lasso tool to cut out the tentacles and the leaves, which I then just copy and pasted. The hummingbird, was originally a line drawing that I colored in and then selected the pixels, copy, and pasted. For the words, I saved the background as a pattern and added it within the text. The written text was simply done with the brush tool.
