2. Clay

A  variety of mugs, bowls and plates, centerpieces were created whose designs have been inspired by nature. The techniques used here are coiling, slabs and potter's wheel. The flora debossing is done by stamps and a live leaf. Ceramic pigments were used to add colour to the items, baked in the kiln, dipped in glaze and again baked in the kiln to set the glaze on them. Ceramics with a single colour all over them are generally dipped in glaze of that colour and then put in the kiln to bake.
