I started off this illustration by finding some silhouettes that inspired me.

The next step in my process was to sketch out different character poses. I kept it very simple with no hair or clothing details yet drawn.

The final step was to draw out the silhouettes. I used multiple pens and brushes on Procreate to get the unique feel to each silhouette. I gave the character a ponytail to emphasize the movement of her dances.

I also had some fun making cat silhouettes. Each representing different emotions.
