LOVERS' SNOW
The young lovers danced in the snow, their bodies covered in a white blanket. The freezing temperatures threatened them with frostbite, but she couldn't care less. Their clothes blew off, piece by piece. From their jackets to their socks until the only warmth they had left was theirs combined. His brown, messy hair became a home for her hands as her black curtain-like hair shielded them both. He moved it to the side, exposed her neck, and then placed a gentle snowflake kiss on the sensitive part of her skin.
"Are you sure?" he whispered.
She was shaking, but not from the cold. Her body was burning. Sweat dripped down her lower back, where his hand rested. With the other, he trailed the thumb across her bottom lip, slightly prying it open, and awaited her response. However, she could not say a word.
Her heart thumped harder in her chest as he lifted her and explored her on a winter night. He turned her around, leading their steps. Their moans filled the night sky, not trying to be subtle, for they were alone. Every movement he made with her caused a snow angel to be left in memory.
Their hands were clasped together. He squeezed tightly and raised himself to look at her. Her cheeks glowed red from blush, and her eyes fluttered open and welcomed him in.
I love you.
Those three words rang in the air, and a blizzard erupted around them. Over and over, the lovers made love during a winter night, neither confessing anything more.
