Cute critters colouring book was a self-made project I created through the Covid pandemic. It's always been a dream of mine to be a published illustrator of children’s books, and this was the first step into that. I started to map out my career, and to dip my foot into the industry I decided to create a colouring book I collected my sketches and filled the colouring book with them. After publishing, I saw my project positively received and even gaining a few awards. This gave me the confidence to keep pursuing my dream of becoming an illustrator. At the start of the project I believed I would make this into a PDF. I spoke with manufacturers and suppliers during the development of the colouring book, and I discovered that self-publishing would be a good option. The children’s book has been my most successful project to date. I printed one hundred initially, and sold them out within a month. At the moment, I am working on developing the book and creating a second volume, as well as updating the first.
