We all follow our own path. We feel, empathize, and dream of reaching the summit. Life is a journey. A journey to the top. Hoverla is a special place. Here, unique nature intersects with ancient culture, and sincere and hospitable people live. The Path to the Summit project unveils this potential. It creates new scenarios for perception and utilization of space.
It establishes anchor points that take into account the local context. It revitalizes the existing pedestrian network and offers new paths. By renovating the old Austrian narrow-gauge railway, it provides a basis for international relations, attracting investments, and reaching a global level. It preserves nature while also providing opportunities to experience extreme and extraordinary sensations. It creates scenarios for year-round use of space. It allows the exploration of local history and culture through modern augmented reality technologies.
The project consists of several main interconnected zones. The entrance area includes a visitor center and a local history museum. The recreational complex is formed around a trout lake. Elevated observation platforms provide various scenarios for interaction with the surrounding nature.
The station at the foot of the mountain provides all the necessary infrastructure for preparing for the ascent. The project enables everyone to follow their own route, experience a unique little life, and touch the culture of the region.
Go fishing and immediately taste your catch. Take a ride on a panoramic train. Cycle or ride a Segway. Simply relax. Feel the power of nature, hear its voice. Touch the sky, follow the birds' path. Witness the sunrise and sunset. Experience a new dimension of discovery. Sample the local cuisine.
Reach your own summit!
