The National Health Service (NHS) was born out of a long-held ideal that good healthcare should be available to all. Today, it is one of the most efficient, egalitarian and comprehensive health service in the UK. However, when it comes to Blood and Transplant donation, its service could be improved.
To improve NHS Blood and Transplant service my approach focused on bringing all the 3 websites together within the already existing app. Besides the new information architecture, a new interface was designed as well as a set of icons that aimed to facilitate communication and navigation.

The icons concept was based on an arrow. An arrow represents the passage from a point to another and so does the organ donation. The interface follows NHS standard colours yet some friendless features such as rounded corners were incorporated to match the icons design.

The new design for the NHS Blood and Transplant app offers a better navigation system as well as provides
deeper content in a quick and clear way. To maintain this approach, a design review should also be considered
for the different NHS websites. A new version could be launched putting them all together.
