I was tasked with creating a soda can design that was inspired by the Greek Goddess, Persephone. I created Kore, a drink which has the flavor of Polar Pomegranate. Both the title of the drink company and the flavor of the drink are references to Persephone, with Kore being the name of Persephone prior to her abduction to the underworld and Pomegranates being the thing that keeps her there for several months of the year.

The main design of the tree represents Persephone's time both in the underworld during the winter and her time in the surface during springtime. The background pattern is a sequence of Pomegranates and snowflakes to call back to the title of the beverage, and a light pink color is used to pay homage to Persephone's contribution to spring time.
