Malasaña Magazine

Personal editorial design project inspired on Malasaña, one of Madrid's most iconic and fashionable districts. The aim was to convey the vintage style and bohemian aesthetic that characterize this neighborhood. The magazine compiles a series of analog pictures that depict some of the most representative streets and spots in Malasaña. All the images included are original pictures taken by me.

The film photographic style provides the design with an interesting retro appearance, the warm color palette transports to its iconic rose buildings and facades, and the combination of typographic styles evokes one of the most characteristic features of this district: the coexistence between the vintage and old —represented through a classic serif font—, and the modern and youthful —represented through a contemporary sanserif condensed font, with great personality—.
