On March 24th, artists JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown released a collaborative album that I had been anticipating for so long. To me, the record managed to meet the expectations and delivered one of the most unpredictable and inventive musical experiences so far this year. This album aroused such a passion in me that it made me want to pay some kind of homage both to it and the artists. I used the skills and knowledge I have, and the result was the design of three “promotional” posters. Two of them feature the artists, while the last one only contains the title of the project and details like the number of songs it has or its total runtime.
Since the album title, “SCARING THE H**S” (which is parodic), contains an inappropiate term, I’ve decided to censor it using an artistic approach.
I do not own the rights to the photographs of the artists (JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown) I used on these posters, which I made as a way to show love, and for personal artistic expression and development only. I will take these images off social media if asked by the autor(s). As an artist, I don’t seek to cause any trouble or harm to the autor(s) or their rights. These designs have never and will never be for sale.
