As a part of the eight-week industry internship program, a mini collection was developed by me to understand brand identity and aesthetics while designing at a commercial level at Fabindia Limited. Following brief was assigned for the same.
Creating a perennial (combining colours from all seasons) capsule collection of 9 kurtas (both long and short) for semi festive occasion-wear with play of lines and textures
Key Pointers: Cost effective techniques to be used; Textural play in focus; Classic styles only; Light embellishment for festive look
Fabric: Kosi, Composition: 85 percent viscose, 15 percent silk (tussar), Plain Woven, GSM: 100, Width: 44", Cost: Rs. 198/m
