The American Red Cross, Cincinnati Area Chapter Capital Campaign Booklet was used to raise capital for the construction of a new Chapter Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. I created the logo for "Building Readiness" using photos I produced from actual Red Cross volunteers along with elements of architectural plans to bring a warmth and human side to the new construction fund raising initiative.
I featured one of my Red Cross photos that I had taken during a disaster to set the tone for the booklet and to remind donors of the human result of Red Cross services to the community.
Architectural illustrations, birds eye view, and ground view give a good feel for the look and placement of the Red Cross building. Copy is kept to a minimum to keep the reader engaged.
