As a part of lamp design exploration,

inspired from a 'feather', the feather lamp 

is about a lighting provision that can provide user a configuration to add more light heads and make it mountable on desk as well as wall with the suitable mountings. 

That's were the simile find it's space to narrate itself as it goes...
