Castle Dimitrescu
This project is the second of three projects I made inspired by the popular video game Resident Evil: Village which features Castle Dimitrescu, the location where you meet the infamous Lady Dimitrescu, or by the term the internet knows her by, "Tall Vampire Lady." This was a very intricate design but was not super complicated project-wise so it was easy to complete once the hardest part of designing it on my iPad was finished. The majority of this project was focused on the intricate design before any stitching was done.
This project was drawn digitally on October 6th 2021 and stitched between November 24th 2021 - Dec 10th 2021.
I designed this project on my iPad beforehand like I do with my other projects. My embroidery projects have the ability to have very intricate and detailed designs because of the process I use before stitching. Drawing out my design beforehand and transferring it on my fabric makes the process much easier than if it was freehanded.
Using my favorite printable stabilizer paper, I printed an outline onto the stabilizer and attached it onto my fabric, outlining the pattern with a single black thread.
