Concert Poster:
In my Text class, I was given the assignment to create a concert poster for the Colorado Symphony Classics. The catch was to use only two typefaces with very minimal illustrative design and only 3 colors. This project tested my skills of layout design with a large amount of text.

In order to fit everything on the page, I had to create a clean layout as well as define many different levels of hierarchy within the text. In order to draw attention to various pieces of text, I changed the color, typeface, or both.
Digital Design
I designed the poster and layout using InDesign, and I designed the illustrations with Illustrator.
The text is pretty tiny, and I understand it is blurry. If you scroll further down this project, you will find pictures and a video of the printed version.
Print Version
The final piece is a poster mailer that can be folded up and shipped. I printed it at FedEx on glossy, thick paper. The ink looks amazing, but this type of paper tore at the creases which is not optimal.
