The book is based on conversations-interviews with experts: a mosaic artist and a master smalt maker. In the format of an informal monologue, they talk about their creative paths and experiences.
The book will be of interest and demand to craftsmen working in the field, newcomers to mosaic work and those who are simply interested in something new.

In the process of work were born images of characters based on real people.
They took on a life of their own on the pages of the book.
The book includes recollections, conversations, and descriptions of production processes. It is supplemented with numerous photographs and sketched line illustrations from the life of the workshop.

The essence of each long conversation was "squeezed out": a sequence of actions or a short story. All remaining reflections, memories and funny incidents were footnoted.
