Irish Folklore; Selkie Illustration
I created this Illustration for my display in the Kinsale Arts Weekend 2023.
The theme this year was "Shapeshifting Selkies".
Creating this piece was a nice way for me to re-connect with my Irish heritage. Since moving to the Netherlands, I have grown to appreciate my culture a lot more than I did when I was younger- so getting the opportunity to research Irish folklore and Celtic imagery was super enjoyable :) .
