The research group described above simultaneously created the Secure and Intelligent Networked Software Systems (SINS-Lab) laboratory. This laboratory will serve as a base of operations for the research group. The lines that describe the laboratory's scope of action are the following: Engineering of security requirements, description and validation of applications and computer security protocols, testing and analysis of systems, Research, prototyping and testing of software solutions for the ecosystem of Internet of Things, Fog, Cloud and Mobile Computing, Artificial Intelligence applied to the management, security and optimization of networks and systems.

About the visual identity:

From the beginning, the objective was to represent the activity of the research group and the laboratory and to create interconnected identities. Since the area is information technology, we decided to represent this through symbols that alluded to the code and the coding activity. For this we used the symbols {} and / due to their use in several languages; such as: Html, Css, Pthon, C#, C++, Javascript, Php, Java. In the research group symbol we used only three / of these to represent the “nas” letters and in the laboratory symbol we used four to represent the four “sins” letters. The chosen color was blue to convey an image of trust. The typeface chosen was “Objektiv” due to its more futuristic style and symmetrical shape, thus alluding to the area of information technology.
