I created 3 samples for a luxury brand, maison margiela, for the intention of a fashion show targeted at young adults and those who enjoy ethereal and creative garments. 

The hero sample ‘Gathered Tides’ was a deconstructed corset, made with reused silk, cotton and hand painted floating leaves and debris pattern for the middle panels. I was inspired by Sophia Narrett's detailed hand embroidery in the second sample ‘Floating Leaves’. The last sample mixes different materials for weaving and was influenced by Sheila Hicks who is a fibre artist, working with thick and thin natural fibres.
