Typography 2 is my research project on typography history, especially for old age font at Van Lang University
There are a lot of iconic typefaces from the past which are worth studying such as Futura, and Didot,.. but for me, I decided to choose the Zapf Renaissance font, a font with a long line history but not very well known

Zapf Renaissance is an old Serif font. It was designed by Herman Zapf in the 70s when he took deeply interested in the beauty of classic fonts from the 15th and 16th century

Zapf Renaissance was invented on the curve and slim lines of fonts in the Renaissance era that's why he named it Zapf Renaissance

Through this research, I considered that "pen" can be used as a main key visual for this brochure. A "pen" can symbolize several concepts and ideas, depending on the context in which it's used.

In this context, "pen" symbolizes tradition, creativity, and a link to the past

Typography quote design is the second project. It can be the quotation, typographer's quotes or even dumb quotes as long as the quote can be customized

Because I am a music enthusiast, so I picked the quote about music "Music is what feelings sound like"
