ESSEDUE is the result of a collaborative effort between fashion design students and product design students. The project aims to decontextualise traditional footwear by creating shoes that mimic what it’s like to walk barefoot,resulting in handmade and one-of-a-kind socks that are meant to worn outside other than indoors. They’re gloves for feet that act like a second skin and force the wearer to land on the centre of the foot and not the heel which fits with natural balance.
