I love a good theme. Below are two pictures from a Vegas themed party, in which my gal pal and I were Cirque Du Soleil. We spent too much money at American Apparel, made masks and headpieces out of confetti, balloons, spray paint, feathers, jewels, and hot glue, wore creepy contact lenses, experimented with liquid latex, and fully committed to acting like weird magical mutes all night. 

My boyfriend has the most disgusting tattoo of a single nacho on his upper arm with the words "Macho Nacho" written on a ribbon of guacamole. God bless him. When our friends invited us to a wrestling party it was very clear to me who our alter egos would be, Macho Nacho and Femme Fajita. “I’m gonna Holy Guacamole you all the way to fajita Friday” was said more than once. I scored this amazing red suit jacket and did my best with duct tape.
