This character is called Subliminal. It is not a typical character, but more of a symbolic one. The intention of this character was meant to represent negative emotions, not just for a specific person, but for everyone. Depression, doubt, anxiety, regret, fear. If there are any negative emotions that someone is trying to simply ignore rather than deal with, that is when Subliminal appears. His creation stems from us. Essentially, our repressed emotions as a collective species are so strong and common, that the sheer energy of our emotions created this being. 

Essentially, it embodies your negative emotions and requires you to confront and fight them. Which means, if necessary, it's appearance could change in order to fit the specific person's repressed emotions and feelings. 

I decided to leave the face the same as it is. While it is a stark contrast to the body, I think this provides another layer of mystery to the character. Additionally, I think that this specific face will provide a method of expressing emotion in its face. 

In this iteration, I decided to remove the human eyes. I thought that it created too much clutter that was unnecessary. This version still has well defined eyes, while removing the additional eye within the eye
